Default Scale Liveries in TC

I was wondering why we don't see more Scale Liveries in Touring Car? Some full scale Touring Cars look awesome, but you rarely see them on the track.
I found a guy that just did one for me.

Wouldn't 8-10 of these in a race look awesome?

I painted mine based off of the Oreca Peugeot 908 from a few years ago. I just followed the design and colors, but added RC decals. This is the car I based it off of: http://www.michelinalley.com/wp-cont...RD2_7304-2.jpg

I only have one pic of mine on my computer. I also have done numerous cars painted in the Gulf Racing colors, check out my albums. But those aren't done to aerodynamic TC bodies.

My concern lies with the willful (and practically guaranteed) destruction of a nicely painted body. I'm certain a lot of work went into the example included by the OP, and I personally can't justify the time and/or expense involved with creation and use of such detailed artistic renderings of real race vehicles.

Don't get me wrong, it's pretty neat to watch miniaturized recreations of actual race vehicles circling the track; just don't expect my vehicles to mimic theirs...

Agreed. I can destroy a body real quick. No reason to bother with scale looks at the rate I can eat a body.

We're having a demonstration race at the Autosport show in the UK. There are 56 entries, running a reedy race style meeting. Part of the deal is we all get a shell painted in replica BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) paint jobs.

The idea is to promote scale motorsport to full size motorsport fans, should be fun

I just paint up all my bodies, based on the box art, also all my bodies are tamiya, could care less for the jellybean bodies. I agree with the op, real car themes look a lot better.
