Ok don't you think that Rick and Tamiya knew about the SpeedTech Race before everyone else? I don't think these races happen overnight and with that said why would Rick make the tire announcement before a different race at the same track with open tire rules, I don't think it would be fair for does that can't make the SpeedTech Race but are going to race the RR.

Just saying if I'm the event organizer I wouldn't announce it now to give everyone a fair chance at the event.
