Default Getting deep back into carpet racing

So it's been some time since I messed with carpet touring cars. i got back into it about 3 years ago. After being out for 8-9 years. I have running my old bought new tc3 & tc4 one with a bmi chassis and a losi xxx-s brushless at my local track. The track has been closed for about 1 year now. so it time to travel. So I am going deep new car, radio, batts, motor, shop, etc... Full setup. I have been a big fan of futaba Novak Trinity and team associated but thinking about Xray tekin spectrum still up in the air. the radio I have is not 2.4 so it's time for and upgrade. The local shop here in foxboro ma is not up to par with my needs they are big traxxas and helicopter shop. I am sure some stuff they a can get but a some maybe a stretch. so will looking for shop that has some real pride in this hobby on the level I looking for.

I know this maybe an odd request any input would be sweet

I hoping to setup myself up to be competitive at Rc madness next year and snowbrids & iic 2015

Thanks
Paul

Here is a good shop thats owned by a great knowlegable guy. His motors, batteries and ESCs are top notch. His customer service is 2nd to none also. Pick you up a used Xray T4 on the sale section here, along with a Futaba 4pl and you'll be ready to go anywhere you want to race and have what alot of racers at that track have ( helps alot with asking advice ).

The Orca and KillShot motors are some that are fast right now.

The sale section will have anything you may be looking for at a deal if you keep an eye on it.

If you aren't running modified, it's hard to beat a Hobbywing Justock ESC for around $50.

EA has really nice equipment and has some really good D3.5 spec motors also incase u have a track that allows them .
I'm also parshal to airtronics radio gear . the mt-4 is in line with the the response of the high end futaba and x12 radios of today with the fhss4 receivers . really is a top notch radio for the small price tag and to top it off has a highquality feel unlike the 4pl
