Need Help With 1/10 World GT Gearing

Can anyone tell me what gears I should be using for 1/10 World GT 13.5 Blinky ? How about tire size and rollout also.
Thanks

Some of these factors depend on the motor and chassis you're using, along with the track size... If you can give us some of those specifics, we can start putting you on the right track. :)

Shoot for 85mm rollout..

I always started at 53mm cuts and an 88 spur

I'm running the Team Associated 10R5.1 WGT with a Tekin 13.5 turn RPM motor in blinky mode. The track is pretty big, long straight and lots of turns.

Sounds like LogiMaker's recommendations are good starting points. Depending on how tight the turns are, you might need to add/subtract a tooth or two from the pinion to get the best laptimes, but 85mm rollout and 53mm tires should work.

LogiMaker ? Oh never mind

So I should start with a 88t spur ?
What about a pinion

What would happen if I ran a 75t spur and a 52t pinion like I use in my 1/12th scale

That spur/pinion combo yields a 115mm rollout on 53mm tires - which is a little too high for WGT... If you're going to start with a 75T spur, start with a 40 tooth pinion and work your way up if you need more top speed.

So if I go with 38p and 75s and cut tires to 53mm that puts my rollout at about 85 does this sound ok to start with

If the 10r5.1 pod plates compare to a 12r5, then 38/75 will position the motor towards rear limit of adjustment. an 85 to 88 spur will keep the motor towards the forward half of adjustment range. some prefer the motor as forward as possible.
