and, what would be the odds if you just made them with the same number pool, that you would find someone on your same number ? or if you could make one that the last couple digits can be changed with a dip switch ?

Our DART system lets you use the Raceiver (receiver) as a personal transponder. You assign the Raceiver a PT number that is sent to the computer. Because you can assign the number, you really don't need a AMBrc system, a AMB20 is sufficient, because after the computer assigns you the 1-10 number, you put that number into your Raceiver just once for the day's race, no need to borrow or take anything in/out of the car.
We also have a "Leader Light" capability that flashes a LED in the car
when you are the leader in a race!
These are patent-pending technologies of Nimble Motorsports, LLC

We hope to have the decoder and AMB20 output available for initial testing
in a couple weeks. We've had lap timer already for some time.

Yes,
AMB sells replacement house transponders for the new AMBrc system. We just bought two for replacements while ours are being repaired.
Cost 115 bucks plus nine dollars shipping.

Is there any interest in an AMBrc PT replacement/clone for say $50US? A clone would be a copy of your existing PT with the same number for your second car (or 3rd or 4th car!!) is there any interest from anyone?
I would take 4

Yup I have canvassed some racers at our club. They too are interested in at leat 1 or 2 each.

Is there a way?

A "HOUSE" transponder is a transponder that looks similar to the old AMB20 units but they are RED in Color.

These "HOUSE" transponders are charged in a charging rack, unlike the Personals that plug into the receiver. (They charge like the old AMB20 units..on the same charger)

A lot of tracks offer the use of a HOUSE transponder instead of requiring the racer to provide their own.

They are a bit more expensive because they contain the battery, and you'd have to have something to charge them in...(If you don't have access to an AMB20 style charger)

Nimble has some great ideas also....

AMB PT's are so convenient to use the fact that you dont have to go back and return "house transponder" each heat. Its a tiring thing to happen. Our club uses AMBrc backed Alleycat software which accomodates PT's replacing our old AMB20. So easy to use even race organizers can join the race.

Check out this site: www.chronit.com
(This is a competitor of AMBit) They have PT's as well

I submitted this question to ChronIT:

Will the DPRC-20 Transponder work with either AMBrc or AMB20 timing systems? How much does the DPRC-20 Transponder cost and where can I purchase this iten in the United States?

Thank You
-Dan

Hopefully they get back to me soon

I have a sample of Chronit PT sad to say it doesnt work with the AMB decoder. I think it detects different frequency. I cant invest on chronit since all tracks around my area uses AMB.
