ok, the gunmetal TRF Dampers, do they come with retainers and shock collars?

of course they do, even springs and mounting hardware.

I have got some now ther on order. 1 other thing is do the schumach pro touring springs fit i think i heard they do?? thanks bob

I think it comes from overfilling them though, since the oil builds up just a tiny little over the edge, if you put the blatter on just now, you have a slightly overfilled shock(you can see this when the blatter comes out when you put it on). The shock now needs to loose this extra amount of oil and does this very slowly since all rubbers are high quality. that's why you find oil at every exit of your shock.
Anyway, try not to overfill in the future because this gives you less compensation volume and changes damper characteristics.
