Default Mi4CXL front diff

I've got a schumacher mi4cxl and during the winter I drive indoor on a close carpet track.
I would like a front ball or oil diff instead of the spool.
I tried the rear ball diff in front but the belt doesn't run 100% straight with this setup.
Does anyone have suggestions? In the rear I have the spec r oil diff.
On the new MI5, the rear spec r diff from the MI4CXL fits in front, but it seems that this setup is different on mine.
