Default What rc should it get?

I want to build a rc drift car. I want a kit that I can build I will purchase electronics separately. I also want it to be belt driven and carbon fiber and aluminum parts. What kit should I get. I want to make it brushless. Any good servos, motors, batteries, receiver.

If shaft is your thing...the tb03 vds might be more what you are looking for.

The budget is 400 to 500. I am thinking of getting the r31-16fm but don't know what electronics to get. I want a relatively high brushless kv motor and 2.4 ghz transmitter and receiver.

You want sensored, and you want slow, something around 13.5 turns or slower. Otherwise it gets hard to control the car. On the ae website you can get the ultimo drift esc and motor for around 90 dollars.

I found the motor but not the esc. Can I have the link for it please. Also what's a good servo and transmitter and receiver?

Battery is Thunderpower with their chargers too.... It makes a big difference... I like the Tp4300-2spr65d ($89) 250grams, not too heavy .... You can get cheaper packs from other brands but beware....

Hmm, I think they don't have it anymore. In that case, I would go with a hobbywing just stock combo.

Savox servos are very good value for the money when compared to something like futaba. For a radio system at around 120 a futaba 3pl or at around 220 a airtronics mt4.
