Acutally I used to race offroad cars on carpet and jumps........ seems odd. We used to run 0 deg blocks that we drilled and fitted on there. It certainly helped with the cornering.

Problem is that most offroad racing doesn't have the high traction levels so a lot of caster helps to smooth everything over.
