Hey all, I gotta Newb question for ya. I want to change the Spur on my 6.2 and don't want to destroy the e-clips holding it on. What are some tips or tricks you all have learned to help me get them off without ruining them?
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone ever tried those "low friction" belts available? Are they really worth it?
I think spec-r makes some; I could be wrong on that.

I use them exclusively on my stock class racers. they last just as long and spin freer. I posted the part numbers on an earlier post. It might take some digging. it was a BD5/7 mid belt and a TCX rear belt. They are actually either the same price or cheaper than stock.

Hey guys looking to help a friend out, which DJC are good for the 6.2? Not buying the ae ones. Seen too many fall apart. Thank you.

Never had an AE one fall apart. Not sure why they would, the design is the same as the majority out there. I have broken one after hitting a solid indoor corner marker, but I'm not concerned about that at all.

yeah me too; though I suppose it could happen. I had a yeah racing one for my mini that bust after 1 race; that ticked me off.

I've never had an issue with the AE DCJs.
If your DCJs are falling apart it's probably because of the retainer ring orientation. The ring orientation should be dependent on the rotation of the DCJ. If you're still having problems try putting shrink wrap around the center barrel (over the rings).
If you're still interested in the tamiya DCJs here is a link:
