I recently swapped to the X Ray servo saver..Its a really beefy unit. Its ultra strong and is slightly taller than most and allows a smooth wide steering curve. Getting 30* is no issue if needed. They are very strong and I have never seen anybody break one of those.

can you tell me where I can get the TM servo savers from? I might give them a try.

p.s your carbon battery mounts came and they work very well, I love the fact that that are higher then stock and holds the pack in better.

the battery stopper I feel could of been 1 or 2mm further out as it looks like its is sitting right on the belt line.
It's been a while since I bought any TM stuff but I used to order from their direct online store.
Thanks for the battery holder props! The stop is actually the same distance as stock so clearance shouldn't be an issue. If I moved it out any more, some batteries wouldn't fit. I run the thunder power 6000mah 65c race packs and they just fit without binding. No rubbing either. It's kind of a fine line... If too far out, the battery won't fit and the weight is shifted more to the right but if it's too far in, the belt will rub.

+1 on that one John!
I use one on my pro10 pan car and it's one of the best I've used. I like the stacking spring design.

Sorry. I was working with Hiro Seiko trying to get them to build this kit and an Awesomaitx kit as its not something they were doing already due to lack of interest. I convinced them otherwise though! Sorry I was late on it though!

True I only did it to reduce the rotation mass and the weight above the chassis, before the aluminum screws the car was 30 grams underweight. With the aluminum screws and aprox 49 grams on the chassis centerlined, I am only 2 grams over. No need to go to titanium to replace the ones under the chassis, as they are as low as it goes.

RaceAce701 - how are you building your shocks? Is there rebound or are you drill out the caps?

thought I would share some update info on my TC6.2's...one I left completely box stock incl setup and the other, well added just about everything AE offers for an upgrade...here what I came up with

Ti Nitride Ballstuds
Part #: 31288,31291,31292 and 31293

Ballast Weight
Part # :31296

RC10TC6 Gear Diff
Part #: 31344

TC6.1 Ceramic Bearing Set
Part #: 31379

CF Arm Mount Shims, outer/inner
Part #: 31629,31630

DCV Kit
Part #: 31632

Belt Tensioner Kit
Part #: 31639

Fan Mount Set
Part #: 31640

Front Bulkhead Shim
Part #: 4617

Bearing, 5 x 10 x 3, metal
Part #: 91156

Servo Saver, XT/Futaba
Part #: 25162

96 tooth, 64 pitch Spur Gear
Part #: 4615

all of these add ons fit great and perform very well...I really like the fan mount and the fan seems to have plenty of air to cool the motor. The DCV kit is imo the most important upgrade to the original kit. All of these parts are on the AE site and worth looking into if you are looking for an upgrade to an already great chassis

Hey RaceAce,

I'd try less up travel (what you seem to call droop), like 1 to 1.5 mm.

Also from your description, the suspension seems to be too soft for the grip level, so slightly thicker shock oil (up to 50wt front) and / or harder springs may improve things. Also, what 3x1.1 shock pistons do you use? Many pistons from other brands (Tamiya...) don't really fit, because they have a smaller diameter and thickness then the original ones. I did'nt see stabilizers in your setup, do you use any (you should)?

Glueing the edges of the front tires might also help.

Christian
