That was my experience, too. Wasn't happy about it. Even the shrink stuff didn't prevent the pin from leaving its place...

Currently running Stock AE cvs up front, no chatter at all, maybe people are running their EPA really far out?
I ran RSD v2 axles all summer on pavement up front, shrink wrapped, never had an issue, never had them apart till i pulled them out for a rebuild after 4 months of running. I did have increased inner wheel bearing wear due to the smaller size. what version are you guys talking about? pay attention to what direction the clips go, follow RSDs directions

The other thing you can do to remove some of the slop from the C hub and rear hub is to put a grub screw in the bottom of them,
I went to all the trouble of polishing my hinge pins so they move freely within the arms, this plus the grub screw i get absolutely no play + very free movement. It only takes 2 seconds to do.
So because i wanted to try something different i purchased a yokomo bd7, guess what after a few weeks of racing i have a play in the c hubs, ok not quite as much as unglued associated c hubs, but play non the less.
Some easy mods to make any 6.1/6.2 better for serious racing (im sure Rick has posted these before)
1) the above mod
2) reflex bladders in shocks
3) reflex 3x1.1 pistons
4) drill a small hole in your top shock cap
5) reflex or new associated drive shafts
6) steel spool outdrives (reflex ones were ok but didnt last long in Mod, yokomo/spec R spool was a little better)

Hi, one thing disappoints me on the new TC6.2. The same spool assambley as the TC6.1.
I find the slipperspool of the TC5 far better and more durable than the stock one.
Besides that i lovethe TC6.(1)2. Easy to adjust and handles very nice, without all the overkill like the MI5.

So which motor would you guys use for 17.5 tc including rotor and stator

Really like the new design and may have to look closer at racing using AE chassis again! Can't wait to see it on the track soon.

I just came back from the LRP-HPI-Challenge. The qualifying and A-Finals were full of Awesomatix, Xray T4'14, Yokomo BD7 and Mi5. I took TQ, but ended up 3rd in the finals after some bad luck. It will be interesting to see if the TC6.2 will be faster than the TC6.1WC, after all chassis seem to be at the same speed level... If so

so are some of the options part for the 6.2 compatible with the 6.1? such as the dcj? or maybe the bellcranks/floating sevro, and motor mount?
