Have you double checked the spacer or arm mount block settings to ensure they're equal too?
I'm measuring from where shock mounts on top down to the chassis plate using a set of calipers.

If I have bad hardware I will find out when I convert over to the TC7 bearing caps, shock towers, and shocks. Question for anyone.... Will the TC7 bearing caps fit on a TC6.2?

EDIT: I posted over on TC7.1 facebook page. The TC7 bearing caps will fit the TC6.2. I'm looking forward to having a TC6.2 with TC7 shocks.

EDIT 2: I found out why the major tweak. One of the rear hinge pins was badly bent. I did the factory mod with tc4 rear arms and that leaves a lot of the hinge pin unsupported. I didn't notice the bend because of the spacers. I'll keep an eye out for this in the future.

Default LF chassis

I am looking for a TC6.2 chassis to run in usgt, bonus points if it includes a body. What do you have? Thanks.

Ps I live in Ottawa, Canada.

OK I'm stumped...

I can't find any dcv kits for this chassis anywhere. Is there an alternative? Do you any of you have a spare set or kit they would sell to me? I ordered some through hobbytownusa and waited 4 weeks with no eta. I gave up and got my store credit
Any word on restock?

Ebay has all the parts and pieces and one over priced complete kit. Maybe the TC6/TC6.1 CVD's will fit.

Sakura #SAK-X27 will fit (even comes with the narrow inner bearing). Only problem is the Associated wheel hex won't fit without modification. I used the 5mm thick ones for the Sakura Zero S (or XI) but they seem to be sold out. Some other brand may work....

Just picked up a used TC6.2(?) to run VTA - once I started going over it and installing the electronics I noticed that it did not have the two screws that go in the top of the bell crank posts of the servo mount plate. The holes in the carbon fiber servo plate seem to be too widely spaced... I am wondering if the plate is possibly from a different model or something? The posts do not seem bent visually.. and the steering is free moving.
Any thoughts?

Possibly TC7. The hole spacing is different, but I can't remember which way. I wouldn't worry about it, generally people didn't put those screws in anyway. I always cut them off.

I am thinking about racing at my local club again. I haven't raced in about 2 1/2 years and they have changed to black carpet. What is a good baseline setup for 17.5 blinky? Also, what motor and lipo's would you recommend. I have an old Team Scream motor D4 based I think, and my lipo is puffed.

I've run the same setup at TQ and IIC with my 6.2, both changing from grey to black carpet. Use the same as you had before, and if you traction roll, recommend CA glue the sidewalls. Adjust from there after you've had a few runs; overcoming 2.5 years away will overwhelm minor setup changes.

Best of luck, welcome back.

So I make my comeback only to break parts. I broke a right steering block (as31360). And they are out of stock everywhere. Any suggestions? Will the tc7 block work? Right now I have a left flipped over so my bump steer is off side to side.

I cannot answer your question. My experience is that even other brand suspension parts will fit, but probably you will have to remove material or add shims. If possible ask a friend at the track if he has spare hubs and try if bearings, bearing distance and overall c-hub fitment is right.
Sorry for that not very helpful answer...

I was hoping to find some on this side of the pond, and somewhere where shipping isn't $15 for a couple of light parts. I may just be biting the bullet and getting a TC7.1

I had the same issue and did the notify me thing from Team Associated as well as Amain. Once they were back in stock from Team Associated I snapped up a set right away. This seems to be the only hard to find part for this chassis as everything else is available, even the option parts like the alloy & Velcro battery retainer. Go figure.
