top deck Broke!!!!!!!!!!!! wow I would not have ever expected that. Ive ordered a bunch of spare parts last night but nothing chassis wise or drive line wise either. Hmmmm got me thinking now. Sure that was a major freak incident.
There is a huge difference in size between the 2 tracks we race at so there can be big FDR changes.

The upper deck was a freak accident - head on into the building wall along side the straightaway. A rear body tuck made the car fishtail violently and whack - right into the wall!

I hope you ordered Wildfire D06 steering knuckles - much stronger (C hubs are stronger on Wildfire D06 too).

yes most all the parts are from the D06 or the new material that's coming out with the cars different then what you and I got.

Again breakage issue with front end pieces. The grey Kit pieces are not holding up. Replace the left C hub a couple weeks ago. This past week had to change both front body post. Today I had to change front body post again because they were the grey ones. Thankfully I ordered 2 sets from Aps. the ones I installed at the track were black or darker grey I hope they hold up better now.

Also have issue the camber ball end on the vertical block on left side not holding. It has loosened enough that it works its way loose.

Second Weekend out with the new Ghost we built for the shop... got to say one hell of a car for $289. I worked a bit on taking some slop out of the steering rack, think I got a low cost solution as soon as a couple bearings show up this week. and the plastic (hope I don't jinks myself) has been great not a single broken part in 10 battery packs or so. Our track is pretty forgiving but the other hooligans with me on the track are not... got an upcoming race Sat and Sunday at the track this weekend and we'll see how she stacks up. So far very impressed

There are shims in the kit. Depending on what your looking to do you might want to order a few extra also.

For those runnIng this car and to those that ran it at the birds, are you running the factory steering or is it upgraded to the D05/06 steering rack?

Also could we see some set-ups for this car?

Kit steering. Kit setup with springs and front say bar. Kit shock oil used two hole pistons instead. trying out front gear dif. but the kit spool works well also.

Read post 88. Just above yours. Thats what ive been running seems to work well. Its smooth and predictable. The only thing Ive done now is running a front diff. instead of the spool.
