Been thinking about adding an extra shim under the pin to take out some of that freeplay on that side also.
I’ve added shims aswell since it came out and it still leaks in that area. The xray one is still the best option for the diff on an F1 I have tried. Others like the fenix one leak worse. At best, you can get like 20 runs on one filled diff before you need to refill it. Its also a good opportunity to maybe go to a diffrent K rating fluid

My xray gear diff doesn't leak..... It has stayed perfect consistent for four race days now.

Put some more miles on it. It's pretty common. The telltale sign is the rear right inner tire is coated. Still handles well and maybe just an annoyance more than anything. The slipping clamping hubs is more of an issue though.

if its a high grip carpet, you want to ride heavy, like 9k, it is low grip, like a 5k

Had it since the day they came out. It used to leak, but then I got the graphite axle and figured out how much to fill it, no more leaks

That's my point, stock axle, stock parts it leaked for you too lol. Thicker oil probably reduces that too but we are using 800-1000cst on lower grip outdoor tracks and it is excellent with the steel axle.
Not a big deal. I love the Xray gear diff and will not be going back to the ball diff any time soon.

Yep, sure thick oil helps. I'm running 5k on our asphalt track, 1000 felt like pit rears, too squirmy

I was looking at the 2019 pic and was wondering. For the adjustable front width, is it only the lower arms that move in? Wouldn't you need to shorten the top arm as well or get a weird angle on the kingpin?

make sure to have a spare graphite axle on hand. It doesn't have much durability.

There is a separate included wider upper plate.
