Will see how the car performs at my track tomorrow night.
The new TRG roll damper looks good for not letting grease out.

You will be happy to know Rob I have fixed my poor initial braking issue, someone had an incorrect setting on her radio... oops... (not that I am running F1 on Friday at this stage)

Awwwww, now who am I going to chase on Friday night

That's a neat looking damper tube. I used 50K oil in the tube and it still feels like there's not much resistance, may have to go higher?

When the tubes are mounted in the car you won't feel much resistance.
When they're in your hands you should definitely feel the resistance.

I managed to run one of my ETS qualifiers accidentally with both damper tubes detached (Lol, don't ask) and it didn't make the biggest difference, although it did makew the car want to 'wander', along the straights in particular.

On the damper tubes, we typically use diff grease. From 5k all the way up to 50k. The thickness depends on the mounting of the tube (car type) and the amount of resistance desired.

Well I raced the car with the damper tube, and at first it didn't feel much different than the shock, but when the track gripped up it did feel more stable than it did with the shock, if anything a little too stable, and not as responsive, as it used to be, maybe too thick of oil?

Will try again with thinner oil next week, and see how it goes.

How do you guys tune these cars. I'm so used to touring cars. What is the benefit of stiff side springs. What is the benefit of a stiff or softer main shock absorber

They might be referring to the side shock or tubes. Just my guess.

The '15 comes with a shock damper where as the '16 comes with 2 damper tubes for the rear pod damping. Pretty much the same concept for tuning as described in the attachment.

Can I ask where you sourced this sheet from? Been through the manual for my '15 X1 and it does not have this sheet.
