I expect a new rear pod similar to the x12'16 with lower CG, new chassis shape (minor change most likely), new shock mounting positions and perhaps some other things.

Thanks Eric.

What range of pinions should I get for 21.5 blinky? With the stock 96t spur.

Thanks.

30-38. It just depends on what track you are racing at and what motor you are using.

It's a MuchMore motor, not too sure on which one. And all the tracks have fairly long straights.

One can only speculate what the changes are. I am hoping that Xray is going to strap on the X12 '2016 rear pod and tube dampers on the new X1.

My guess is it will come with plastic front wing, new adjustable rear wing and tube side dumper and probably a new body. I don't think there is reason to change the rear pod design - no need to have it as in X12'16 as more ride high flexibility is not necessary. It would be nice if it had sliding central pivot but I doubt.

Hey F1 fans, I have an X1 for potentially sale, not posted yet, anyone interested? One carpet racing weekend of use, 5 runs. Chassis and body only. Let me know.

Yes, they seem quite good, better than the old Ride tyres.

Agree on Damper Tubes, but the X12'16 rear end can't mount the brace that the rear wing attaches to.
