No honestly I think the Fourteen looks quite good, I like the looks of it.
I have the protoform f13 on my f104 pro v2, and i had to do a bit of cutting for it to be clear of the top part of the motor pod. So i wonder how much cutting ill need to do if i decide to put one on my X1.

yes, that's the "Xray" body, which bears a remarkable resemblance to the Mon-Tech f13 http://www.mon-techracing.net/bodies/formula-1/f13.html

That's the Phi-Gamma from Fenix Racing. It was designed purely around its aerodynamics rather than for its looks.

Can you post some pics of your f13?

You can do wonders if you spend ages on some custom decals to give it a more scale look. However they still will look not very scale if you place it next to a Tamiya shell.

How is this even a conversation?

Tamiya body shells have ALWAYS been about appearance over performance.
Proline/protoform is performance over appearance.
How are there still people around who hasn't realised that yet?

Here you go.
It was a tight fit around the rear. (That's what she said...)

Hmm, maybe the paint scheme doesn't help.
Yours does look better, but I'm still not sure.

I'd like one like a 70's F5000 but the Xray one will be fine, function over aesthetics any day....

I like balance, otherwise we all may as well drive the same looking units.

Is only different opinion
however, here in Italy some drivers prefer Phi-Gamma to Protoform
