The high X-ray price is to pay for the Armani suits that the X-ray staff and team drivers wear in the marketing materials. C'mon guys.

I listed manufacturers of complete F1 Kits. I left out the 3rd party hop-up and conversion parts manufacturers (i.e. Exotek, TRG and Fenix Racing).

From what I found Fenix Racing makes 2 conversion kits; (1) I.Mola conversion kit and (2) Su-Zuka conversion kit. You must still purchase a donor chassis (WRC F-180 for I.Mola -or- Tamiya F104V2 for Su-Zuka) to put the conversion parts on.

Just lets hope front arms will be more durable than front carbon bumpers on their X10 pan cars.. You could see few drivers to break them during every event and as rules allowed only xray parts here, ppl were getting frustrated quite quickly. Not so surprise when that "single use" bumper costs 1/6 price of the kit

TRG does and has made full kits, but they never leave asia for the most part. The TRG114 is their current car. The Exotek F1R2 Pro only needs a donor rear axle and your choice of front arms to be a kit, many are built as new as it's now cheaper that way. It is the one of the finest RC cars on the planet.

Was really hoping for some innovation in this car, especially coming from XRay. I understand sometimes the simple solution is better but other than the front upper arms and the battery placement it doesn't look any different than the other "Tamiya" style kits on the market.
