We're not currently planning on cutting a F60 body to fit on the X1, sorry. We're F1 lovers but currently not planning to use the X1 with that particular body. There's currently a cheap Mon-Tech body on it (as can be seen in the video).

Will post pictures of customers who have painted the XRAY body or other bodies on it, as they come along (we have our own indoor track which customers use a lot, so we get to see quite a lof of F1's & other cars).

We've driven with it again & out of sheer excitement tried to remember to film it a bit this time, which became this:

So this will be my first F1 car. What is the best rubber tire set up for loose to medium grip asphalt and what is the best for carpet? And what wheel spacing etc. do I need? Sorry for rookie questions.

I think the best thing regarding bodyshells is if anyone buys something different, they take a few photos of what they had to cut off and what it looks like once finished, that way we can tell what fits OK and what doesn't.

Ride 26022 & Ride 26023 is the standard for rubber, both carpet & foam here on all tracks.

For foam: GQ tyres (also preglued) Hard front, Soft rear.

(experiences may vary of course ;-) but we've seen quite a lot of tracks & this is what works best in almost all cases)

They should be arriving in the US soon....very soon. If you want to get in on this first batch make sure your local dealer has one on order RCA to ensure possible delivery before the end of the year.

Does this mean any tamiya wing will fit? Will the f104 wings work?
