Overall: evolution.
Be nice to see a gear diff!

I think I have seen a sealed fluid filled diff running around certain racers pits.

Ehm... seems that we're slimmer than the new 2018 version... 89.5mm

I like the new shock position a lot, nice update to the steering blocks, bummer that the rear pod doesn't get the same suspended link treatment. Still don't know if it's worth retiring my 2015.

How will the new side link mounts hold up under impacts?

It's pretty standard construction for Xray... worst case scenario they might tweak a little in a big impact - less so on the harder aluminum chassis.

With the new car being announced, how long should we expect to wait before its available in the US?

Seems not - and I'm not surprised - ball diff works well and you can always get Phoenix one if find useful...

Thankfully rear is "traditional" so not shim-based - eggs persists
