Default rollout

Could someone tell me what rollout is, and what it does in terms of tuning your car? Thanks.

rollout is the distance your car runs by each motor revolution......

rollout = (pi*tire diameter) / (internal ratio * spur/pinion)

rollout is really only used on foams..because as your tyres wear down, your rollout changes....its in effect changing your gear ratio.

so every run, or every so often you will have to alter your pinion/spur in order to keep the correct rollout.
