i never heard of them. i use kokam lipos on my mini-t and their ballistic because of their high discharge rates. but whatever lipos u get, make sure u have a charger specialy for lipos or you will end up getting seriously hurt or burn down ur house.

The Scorpion is a Kokam pack with current protection circuitry built in, and they can be fast charged @ 3C on the Scorpion 2s charger. If the current demands exceed the battery specs, it will automatically shut down the car to prevent problems.

I had them for a while and loved them. I used the charger and batteries without and problems. I would still have them but I sold all my r/c stuff except for my 1/8th on road. Man I miss the Li-po's. Here is a link for them.

I bought mine off of e-bay at a good price.

If I was to do it again I would go with the Orions or Peak li-po's. They are FMA with a better case.

Good luck.

Does this mean that the pack does not handle modified motors?

Team Orion are the newest cells made for Car only for Team Orion, FMA are the plane cells. Also Team Orion have the 100% safety cells. I would only use Team Orion in cars.

From what I'm reading, two 3200's and a charger from stormer hobbies cost under 3 bills Two orion's and their charger is closer too $450.00
you could upgrade to a 6400 and a 3200 and still keep a c note in your pocket (in my case for parts)
