ANother possibility is that while running a 6T motor the newer version 2.1 twister or the new VFS1 Compition both have the upgraded thermo cutoff would be a feature that Masami would want. His labeled one in the other version...not the carbon case model. He is fully sponcered by KO so I think he will run what is best...Period..

Tbevofreak, I was actually sitting right behind Oscar. However, I was too busy on my own race schedule and I use Ti based motor myself, I didn't pay much attention in Oscar's pit table

Well thx anyway Mars! Ti based motors are still probably the most reliable and easy to tune for high power\speed!
V2's are very good but you need to know how to tune them to squeeze out all the power, at first they dont have that much rip

Shookie, you are certainly correct about Masami ESC, I agree 100%

Oscar opened one of the motor that was used from the race and explained in details what we should look for on the com, what brush to use, what spring , what armature to use and why so I think he said as much as he could, without any hesitation, within that period. Very nice guy.
It should be available soon in DVD with coverage of the race from link below
( I did the motor's interview in English but rest is in Chinese )

I don't know what happened.....after I clicked the above link, I have 48 pop up and I have to force to shut down the computer....beware.
