Definitely. They are super consistent from run to run with plenty of adjustment.

Any word of a conversion kit for the T4 '13 cars? I'd hate to spend another $300+ on the car to get it updated.

you could sell it and buy a new kit? Unfortunately the amount of changes means the '13 doesnt resell too well.

I cant even find all the parts needed to upgrade individually, wow.

Amainhobbies has them, but it's a matter of them having all the parts in stock.

Ah, I was only looking under t4 '14 parts, I guess they werent listed right.

For some reason, xray parts from asian companies are 1/2 to 1/3 cheaper than even amain, and thats AFTER express shipping prices to Canada.

Apex Racing in Hawaii has all the parts in stock I believe, and it will be high dollar to piece a '14 together. Better off buying a new one, or the RSD V2 full chassis conversion kit.

hi guys, I am sure this has be raised but to get the quick answer without trawling 1000 pgs..... what do i need to do to get the pinion to line up with the spur. it seems whichever way i put it on I can get the whole gear to engage, have I built something wrong, this seems very strange to me that a standard pinion doesnt work with the spur that came with the kit! thanks

Put it on backwards (grub screw away from the motor) and enlarge the hole in the chassis a couple of mm so you can get to the grub screw

I just grind the flat spot on the rotor another couple mm to get it on the regular way.

There are a few pinions that I have (all really cheap brands) that are just too wide to fit without modifications to something. I prefer the CRC pinions as I don't have to mess with anything. Just run them with the set screw out like daleburr suggested. I don't have any of the Xray pinions but I imagine they would fit without issue as well.

I have convert my T4 to T4'14 with original Xray parts and it cost me around
130 USD and delivered by RCmart HK.
I must say my T4'13 was in good chape, and i did compete with it in and outdoor in the 13.5 class.
As my T4'13 was wear out then I buy the 14.
If I sold my T4'13 it cost a lot more to get me a T4'14.

The PRS and the XRAY pinions fit with no problem but careful if you use the nylon nuts (stock) to locate the battery you may have the battery touching to motor shaft on some motors.
