O and BTW all went smooth with build last night no issues at all . I built to kit set up ...for now .
Have to ask tho . I'm using a orca 325g battery . what's folks doing to balance car that might not be considered normal ways of balancing the car ?
I (so far have moved the heavier items of the car out some on electronics side added a larger 35mm fan used the supplied savox screws to secure servo(nice btw) at full length has anyone successfully moved battery in any ?

I am using the orca 7000 in mine along with the VX a 1251 and KO rx on the electronics side. I had to add 10g on the electronics side to balance it. I put it on the front left under the steering rack. Perfect balance and weight. I tried moving some stuff outward on the elec side but didn't like it hanging off the chassis. I was able to do that on the '13 but the chassis is narrower on the '14 so I had to go with added weight.

i dont do this currently(weight added to battery side)but have done in the past,i used 10mm diameter alu spacers from a tc6 that i filed a flatspot on,4 in total making 2mm,i crashed alot then and never had an issue,if the right hardware is used it shouldnt be a problem

Someone mentioned a shim especially designed to space a motor out, but it was mentioned that moving a heavy weight (180g) for a motor further out can effect the handling, making it more difficult to drive.

Here's a picture of my 1251 servo 90* to the chassis. Its dead on with no sub trim at 90*. With full travel I get 25* in each direction and each side is balanced within 7% of each other on my KO radio. So it can be done the way the book shows and have even travel both directions.
