Just wondering hat is better step charging at lets say

Does step/linear charging depend on cells used also?
Doesn't it apply to all cell?

well, u gotta know how much capacity ur cells holds and base the charge amps from there. for ib3600 i would try 3.5, 7, 6.5, 4 thats four steps

keep charging with linear method........

step charging improves runtime, and resistance also increases.....definately what you DON'T want for stock racing......

here is a test made by Racing Lines Australia with CTX cell master:

5 amps >>> discharge 3081mA / avg volts 6.986 / IR 31
step 7-0.2-4.5 amps >>> discharge 3137 / avg volts 6.871 / IR 33

pls explain how step charging is not good for stock class.

all you need fot stock racing is VOLTS and LOW RESISTANCE......

runtime is something you never have to be concerned......
so if linear charge yields more voltage and lower resistance....that's the way to go.......

his step charge method is weird. 7 amp, 0.2 amp, and 4.5 amp?

this is what i use for stock racing w/ gp3300s. 3.5, 7.5, 6, 4 notice its 4 step.

CTX CELL MASTER......

you can use this setup, but with peak voltage settings......the much more unit mainly use temp cutoff for the last step.......

I had the Pitbulls and tried Step Charging, did not work real well at all. I now have the Orion Advantage and am using step charging.

But unlike stated above I am seeing a decrease in total IR for my cells. IB3600s and GP3300s, as well as overall increased voltage. My cells are only getting better. I am currently just running 19T and mod.
