Just saw this, I'm getting better by the day. I'm down to 2 F1s but I got an SP1 on the way. I've built or bought 6 cars since beginning of March. And working with all the tiny screws really helped get my hands back. Ill be on track in a couple of weeks. RC really helped me get through last 2 months and a lot of late night texts to BP. He's been a lot of help as most everyone knows.

I'm taking my LM1 out on the street tomorrow with 2s and 13.5 just to make 100 foot speed runs, any hints on a gear ratio so I dont blow it up? Using kit spur, whatever pitch and size it is. I gotta go to bed. Thanks liljohn

I sold my LM1, along with some spares, to a guy on RCTech. Sadly, I don't recall his name. I have found some items that I failed to include in the box. I'm hoping that he will respond to this and let me know where to send them.

I have mine, haven't even put half a battery thru it, no one races them around here which is a stupid shame. I'm currently working on making it just a speed run, 2s 5turn and hold my beer car

Best bet is to go to local track and see what classes they race and get you something for whatever class that may be. Then by an LM1 take it to alleged local track for practice and just get peoples attention. That's how we got F1 goin in N Texas in 2011, just be visible and people will wonder what in the hell is goin on. And then, especially it being a fun car to drive, the more you share it for a few laps a piece the more people will go nuts. Proven Theory. Plus if you only have one RC car then, well that just sucks, you need at least 5 with another on the way
