Default hex to standard wheel?

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can get an adapter to use standard wheels, not hexes? Or, does anyone know a place to get different compound foams?

Thanks.

Only one tire compound and only one mounting system. We have no issues with these tires on carpet. Makes for great racing.

I was hoping to use it on a outside concrete track.

I've never run on concrete but on asphalt sunscreen works great as a tire additive.

Generic sun screen SPF 30 with no moisturizers, rubbed in on clean tires the night before (or a couple hours) competition will bring them back to good working condition. Store them in a zip lock once you treat them. You do not have to apply sunscreen after each run, but you do have to clean the tires and apply traction compound for a consistent feel round to round. Reapplying sunscreen during competition will make them slimy and not grippy.

The stock foam tires give great traction and last a long time. Just keep an extra set with you until you know what the concrete does for wear on them. On carpet they barely wear at all.

I use SPF 50 sunscreen for babies as it has no additives. The guy who gave me the tip rubs it in 30-45+ minutes before each run. Use gloves if you have to but really work it in, the tires should look blueish. If you use tire warmers it takes less time to soak in. If you wipe off the extra you wont have the greasy effect. I also use tire additive, on top of the sunscreen, about 10 mins before hitting the track and dab off the extra with a towel. There are multiple methods that work but I have used this method with success on Speed Passion foams specifically. See what works for you and have fun!

Howard, any word on when SpeedPassion is going to release the body you've been teasing us with?
I see the LM-P body is listed on the US speedpower website but shows unavailable. http://shop.speedpowerrc.com/lm-p-lemans-bodyshell/

Looks like it's available from the worldwide warehouse though. http://www.speedpowerrc.com/v4/produ...ODY&p=SF001179

I do believe the new body should be in stock this month. Keep checking!

Looks like we're going to have to track Howard down on Facebook. Pretty sad that the US importer of these cars isn't monitoring a discussion on his own cars, especially since a new part is being anxiously awaited.

Any word?

Also, anybody running their cars or getting a class rolling as we head toward the "indoor season"?

Looks like somebody else assumed that the two bumps up front were for the body posts...

How hard would it have been for Speed Passion to locate the post holes on the body considering this body was made for a specific chassis...

Edit: What do you know... I found them. Good. Removes my least favorite part of getting a new body prepped.
