Easy. What you already have. Get a "B" car for yourself and allow your friends to use it or put a VTA body on it when you end up at the races all by your lonesome.

^ if this doesn't appeal i like the xv01 and the tb03 best on that list. you really did list a wide variety of cars, many are much better than others.

Why is Atomic VM2 lipo even on that list? Its a mini M-chassis car and frankly, the quality is crap on it. (I own one)

Lastly, you already created one thread asking the best car for $150, why create another similar thread?

Because, when you do not get the answer you want the first time, you keep asking others the same question until you hear the answer you want.

The sad thing is, when you explain to someone there is no best car, and that there are a whole bunch of them that are good enough to win on the day or good in one situation or track over another, they really don't get it at all.

The best car is the one you can drive the fastest and the most constantly and has a setup window wide enough to suit all the conditions you drive in and your driving style. I can think of 15 brands that might fit that bill for most people

I would say all touring cars suck if you can't drive them. give a turd to a pro driver and he can make it look like a fast chassis. Some trolling going on to see a battle between people who really think all it takes is the best one to be the fastest.

best car for the money,

a used XRAY T3 OR T4... Durable, well made, easy to drive from what i have read here for about 8 months now... it seems that xray is king for the its price...

people are right for saying that there is no best car.

it really comes down to preference.

i have built a
HPI rs4 - first car i built
xray t2 - helped a friend to build it
hpi cup racer - good quality but def durable
associated tc6.1 - so so... very fragile and broke easily i hated it.
atomic vm2 - very durable but lots of slop
Tamiya TRF101 - best quality, refined parts, beautiful aluminum parts. best chassis i have touched that is why i switched to all Tamiya.
Tamiya M05 pro - great car
Tamiya TA05 R - still in the box
Tamiya TRF417v5 - on its way
Tamiya Rm01x - on its way

also Tamiya is blue and I am obsessed with the anodized blue lol
