Yep, I used pop bottles to practice on too. I always use a hair dryer. The last body I painted, I actually raced with it the same day as painting... Not something I like to do, but got lazy earlier that week and didn't paint it. I didn't have any problems with it, mostly because I trimmed this body before painting. Didn't have to worry about scratching all the paint off then.

Yeah, i got my body all trimmed, and masked...Haven't even ordered the airbrush yet

If you want to do a fade, i would suggest practicing on a paper plate. It helps you get control & knowledge about what th epaint does. It really helped me, and my first airbrush body turned out ok.

Yeah, But it is a basic skill that you have to learn A fade is the basis of almost every airbrush scheme. Flames, ect...

Yeah, its very cool.. Kinda "one of a kind" to people who have the losi at this point. Now how Nick thought i had a TC3 is beyond me
..lol
