The Sakura D3 is a drift spec and is set up with CS out of the box. The Turnigy TD10 from Hobbyking is just a rebadged 3Racing Sakura Zero S

Is the d3 good when modded to be a touring car without counter steer and drift tires? Is the zero s better or the same as the turnigy TD10 performance or durability-wise?

D3 is really only a drift car. The balance is off for touring and you would have to switch out all pulleys and belts for touring.

TC4 is pretty strong. I use mine mainly for VTA but have ran it with a 17.5 and liked it. Parts support is always good for Associated so you can't go wrong their. Only mods I got on it are some TC6 shcoks, the aluminum blue front driveshaft and 3racing steering rack.

Everything else is mainly prep. Clean the grease out all the beaing and then oil them. My TC4 is smooth and very free.

Spec-R S1 is the one you want.

I've had lots of highend TC's.

+1 on the TC4. They handle great and parts are everywhere. I race them in 17.5 blinky and USGT. You cant beat a nice TC4.

Is the tc4 better than the tc3? How does the tc4 perform in the faster classes?

My TC4 Does great. I liked it so good I bought 3 of them. One I race in a local spec class. One I race touring and I have a brand new one in the box put back. . I've ran mine hard and no maintenance.

Is anyone running the tt02, tt01, or tt01e? Is it like the tc4?

Depends on what you local LHS stocks for parts. You might be better off picking up a used car that the shop has parts support for. If parts support is not a concern then the Spec-R S-1 or Sakura XI Sport would be the way to go.

Can someone make a ranked list out of the cars I listed out of their opinion?

I dont know much about the other cars you listed. In my opinion you only have 2 choices. The TC4 and Spec R S-1. The Spec R R-1 is not in the 150 price range.

Honestly I'd take a good look at the S-1 as well.

Here's a TC4 I have for sale
(sorry trying to pimp a GOOD TC)
