I used to race it back in 91. It's a classic now. So I assume parts will be hard to get.

I think the Optama came out maybe ~10 to 15 years ago. I had one, it was cool for the time. I don't think you would be able to find parts fot it, but who knows.

It's no faster or slower than any other electric car, just depends on the motor in it.

It is vintage now, so you'll struggle to get parts.

Optima Mids are relatively collectable, although that one is not in original condition, but it looks in fair condition so someone may want it for parts.

If you put a good description on it, you may get more for it than the 20 you paid - but not a lot more.

wow....old stuff

I'd be very careful using them...that charger on the right isn't for R/C - it looks like a charger for standard batteries, not the kind we use

If the batteries are as old as the car, they won't hold a charge. You can keep looking on ebay for spare parts. Or you can carefully run your car and make sure you don't break it.

The car definetly looks the Kyosho Optima Mid,
As for the chargers the one on the left is for charging the 7.2v cells, but is very old and is a clockwork constant current charger. Crank the knob and it will continue to charge until it comes back to the starting point. You have to be careful when charging because it is so easy to overcharghe the cells.
