Question on USGT tires and wheels, is the HPI X-Pattern the tires I should be looking at, or something else? What compound is better for relatively high grip tracks like Cleveland, Pro or D?

That's assuming USGT is run, it is not an official class and was mentioned it might be considered if interest was there, so far 2 have shown interest.

Cory, Our local guys have found that the pro compound tends to get too grippy once the bite comes up. At the Champs, that should occur halfway through the first round of practice, lol. D-Compounds all the way.

Well, I believe I'm in for 17.5 12th, and WGT. This should be entertaining.

Definately, I know it is speculative at this point but since I haven't run to those rules before I should do my homework in the hopes we get enough interest.

Got it. Thanks, Snowy. We're getting closer to making USGT a reality. If any of you are on the fence, jump Humpty!

We are beyond two, but not above the go/no go line yet for USGT. Get those entries in!

Sean, that's what we are using at GR.
We upgraded from RC 2 to RC 4 with the my-laps upgrade.

I know you upgraded, cause now my transponder doesn't count very well anymore. Even though it's supposed to. I'm just going to upgrade to the RC4 vs. the hybrid since it's quite a bit cheaper. That's why I wanted to double check.

Yes we will be using the RC4 system that My-Laps has strong armed the industry into, we are working on the posibility of aquiring some of MRT's RC4 compatable transponders at a discounted rate, hopefully more on that soon.
