as above,what will you do ?
on my t4 after todays racing
i have just checked the whole car over for tight bearings,rebuilt 8 shocks with different oils,and rebuilt the rear diff with a new oil,checked all a arms for binding and checked and adjusted droop,put it all back together and checked steering throw and set ride height,all set for next weekend,where im hoping for faster lap times with the small changes ive made

but i dont do this everytime,so curious to see if you do

Between Races, blow the car down and swap tires left to right, need to when running foams to keep wear even.

After Each Meet: Clean the gunk and buildup out of pulleys to ensure they have a long life and clean the car.

Every 2nd Meet: Check for worn parts. Recheck all settings on setup station.

Sometime between the 4th and 10th Meet: Rebuild diffs, shocks, clean and lube bearings.

I am pretty lazy when it comes to doing these things.

What I should do:

Clean bearings, reset ride height/droop/camber. Check tweak and make sure nothing is off on the car. Clean my tires, make sure they're spotless before applying more sauce. Make any setup changes

What I actually do:

Go to the local diner and eat something and then rush back with like 2 mins before my race and sauce my tires.

It's good you pay attention to your car. I'd make one change at a time only though. You can test the change so you can revert or move on with another adjustment. That way you know if the adjustment worked or not. That is what the fast guys have taught me.

Everybody else must be doing something wrong then. I'd seem to differ with your approach unless you just bash and not race.

If you run a shaft Car like a tc4 with sealed drivetrain, and it''s already on pace, then you won't need to do anything after races if it runs fine... If you run a spool/lcd up front the rear ball diff will last forever... Like I said, nothing to do really.... I also only clean with a light brush, no air needed... If you own a belt Car, then you'll need to do alot more between runs....

Anyways, the first things I Check are Tires, then wheel Bearings , cracked Parts if I hit stuff on my run, vehicle gears.... If they all checkout, that's it ! On to the next run......

I never race just one car so i dont do a lot between races. unless somthing was fundamentally wrong, ill usually leave my cars alone until the end of the second round when traction is closer to where it should be. if my car was good last week and i dont crash, i might leave it alone if another car has some issues. touring car i tend to leave alone. our layout changes but the surface and the traction level is usually pretty consistant. most changes are things i can drive around.
I dont really chase "the pace" so much. thats a term i think people throw around too much. i know who i can race with and who i cant.

between race days, if the car was good, i leave it. blow it off with air and put in on the shelf. if it was bad, and i mean really bad, ill tear it down to make sure things are true and not worn out.
for 12th scale.. i get coffee. in stock i have the car setup to drive very nice and i dont really mess with it too much.

What you should do between the races of course depends on how your race before was. If you had a clear run, without touching a board, hitting stuff or chrashing other cars, you need to do less. What I usually do:
1. cleaning the car and looking for damage
2. charging the battery
3. checking all screws (if lost or became loose)
4. putting in a charged battery
5. removing tires
6. checking tires
7. adjusting/checking setup (camber, caster, droop, tweak, etc...) You can skip this step if you had a clean run and are satisfied with the car
8. installing/swapping and saucing the tires
9. eating, drinking, watching the other guys, getting nervous

It all depends on time between rounds and what happened last race. If I've had clean runs and didn't smash into or get smashed by anything I'll do the following:

1 - Spray the Car Down
2 - Swap tyres left to right
3 - Check Ride Height (I'm always amazed how this changes, I always doubt my ability to build shocks right)
4 - Sauce my tyres.
5 - Chuck on tyre warmers.
6 - Goto the toilet.
7 - Play mind games with my competitors.

If I've had a scrappy run then I'll check setup and tweak...
