Really?, I guess so since Im not a Top famous racer. Its my opinion. Yea there has to be a line drawn I agree.I just think 4 gram was a joke..I guess its ok for crazy stuff to happen at the Roar on road nats but not here.
I was just making the point that If i were the guy that got first because someone was 4g lighter, but her beat me, I would really feel like i won. To me its a hollow victory.
I guess to do have to hardline a rule to make it stick but when I look at 4g? I guess its just a shame to see someone lose a championship over something so little. Especially when he backed up his performance with the added 4g to prove that it gave him no advantage. But Ill conced that rules are rules so I dont have to go to Rick's Top 1 and 2

I would tell a driver with up to 10 grems to add it on, for the next heat, and leave it there. If he/she was racing in the beginners class. This however, is the worlds best. They know the rules.
But Jilles did not complain. This was basicly a warm-up for the Euro. The question is not to remember weight the car within the regulations.
The questions after this race is "how in he-l shall anyone catch up with Marc"?

Barry, you also are my hero. After you had dinner you should have played Golden Tee.

Before we all start getting too excited, and just to put things in their right perspective, here are the 8 fastest race times of the 2 day Reedy race. They were the only 8 races to produce 20 laps in the 24 race programme. Congratulations to the 4 racers who managed 20 laps, Marc recording 4 of these.

Fastest race Marc Rheinard - race 14 - 20 laps in 510.29
2nd fastest race Marc Rheinard - race 18 - 20 laps in 510.48
3rd fastest race Marc Rheinard - race 12 - 20 laps in 512.89
4th fastest race David Spashett - race 23 - 20 laps in 512.93
5th fastest race Jilles Groskamp - race 22 - 20 laps in 513.83
6th fastest race Jilles Groskamp - race 20 - 20 laps in 514.22
7th fastest race Marc Rheinard - race 24 - 20 laps in 514.40
8th fastest race Mark Fisher - race 15 - 20 laps in 514.70

Congratulations to Marc who placed 1st, Simo who placed 2nd, and Jilles who placed 3rd.

And certainly congratulations to Schumacher driver Teemu Lieno who won all 3 finals in the Nordic section of the race.

Was Marc a worthy winner? I would say those results speak for themselves.

I am not sure your list is correct. I Simo also did a 20 lapper in race 18 in 511 I think. I am sure there were other 2nd place 20 lappers aswell.

I only made a 19 laps 500.70... So close to get on your list

Hi Pelle.

You're quite right. The Orion website, from where I gathered the info only has a plus figure after each race winner so it is not easy to identify.

Thanks for pointing it out. Good one for Simo. Yes, his would have been a 20/5.11 something, which would have him as 3rd fastest race. Not bad.

I see the TC4's were well placed and quick too. Were you the quickest of the non FT cars ?

The final top ten table is a little further down the page in the race narratives.

To add to joe's post
Race18: apart from Marc R, Marc Fischer 2nd and Simo 3rd had 20 laps
Race 20: apart from Jilles, Simo 2nd and Marc R 3rd had 20 laps
Race 15 was close also but I don't have final laps yet.

Joe (and all) when you view the software on the Orion site and click results, then click the race you want to see - it gives you the end of race results.
At the end of the reults there is a link to get 'Race Laps' - this gives you individual lap times for all drivers and all races
