Isnt that funny how the Orion site has an Orion driver on top.....I guess if they needed to they would have only counted 1 round in order to make it look good for them.....just my opinion

Not really to defend anything here, but I am pretty sure that the result on orion is a mirror directly from the timing computer which sorts after fastest time if equal on points and other ties and apparently that drops the two bad runs allready. I could be wrong though?

See you tomorrow

Although it's on the orion site - it is a link from the race software (bbk)
Are you saying that the results are not true!

After looking at the results more closely, and the Rules, I dont think Rheinhard should be top at this stage.
The rules state:
8 rounds - four Saturday and four Sunday
Best six rounds count. The two worst rounds are thrown out. As throw aways they are gone and are not used for anything such as tie breakers.

First tie breaker is who, who has the most first place finishes, most seconds, thirds etc. through their six best heats. Throw away rounds are not to count.
Second tie breaker is fastest time, if still tied second fastest time etc.

Points are awarded by finishing position in each heat run. First place one point, second place two points, etc.

So, at this stage Simo should be at the top! (point taken Barry )

Congrats Barry.

Only driver to never be lower than third. Keep it up.

Bill

Edit...Oops! I missed one other.

I personally think that you should only drop one heat to show the most likely standing at this point of the race.

And then it would look something like this !!!(Not Official - Calculated by myself)!!!

2 Marc Rheinard 5 - 1 3 [5] 1
3 Barry Baker 6 - [3] 2 1 3
4 Chris Grainger 6 - 1 3 2 [7]
5 Andy Moore 6 - 2 [4] 2 2
6 Juho Levanen 7 - 1 [7] 1 5
7 Jilles Groskamp 7 - 2 1 4 [6]
8 Marc Fischer 7 - 2 2 3 dns
9 Jonas Kærup 8 - [5] 1 3 4
10 Pelle Martin 8 - 4 3 [6] 1
11 David Spashett 8 - [7] 2 4 2
12 Thomas Pumpler 11 - 3 5 [7] 3
13 Martin Hudy 12 - 5 [6] 5 2
14 Ben Cosgrove 12 - 4 [6] 4 4
15 Markus Fost 13 - 6 [7] 2 5
16 Sakke Ahoniemi 13 - [5] 4 3 6
17 Lee Woodhams 14 - [6] 5 6 3

19 Christer Andersson 16 - [8] 7 5 4
20 Nicholas Lee 17 - 7 4 [8] 6
21 Mathias Larsson 18 - 6 [8] 7 5

Barry, are some of the AE drivers running the regular team TC4?

I m pretty sure the FTTC4 will win many races although I think Craig Dresher would have won with the Team TC4 anyway!

Thanks for the report and good luck! GO AE you deserve it!

ok back to the hotel now....what a long day....

First off I want to say sorry to the people at orion as the post I made yesterday was without looking at their site first.......it seems that they are posting straight from the software used at the race....the maker of the software told me he didnt relize that it actually made 2 throwouts the first day which should have been only one throwout...but with that said I should have checked out the site first.....so sorry again to all the peps at orion..

ok now with the race......today was a showcase of some great driving from most everyone.....Marc Reinhard drove flawlessly today and took the win...Simo proved yesterday wasnt a fluke and backed up yesterday with some good drives of his own and Jilles, what else can I say but bad luck again...He changed his whole car last night and forgot to weigh it this morning...He won his first heat but got DQ'd for being 4 grams light(ouch)then proceeded to win his next 3 races without that DQ he would have won the overall by 1 point but hey I guess we all learn a lesson from this....

my races today didnt go as planed....my some bad luck on my part but heck I did win 1 and got a second in one which put me 5th overall...not to bad for an old guy....LOL

I will post more when I get back for dinner cuz a fat guy needs to eat(alot)LOL...
