Default E10 POSI LOCK diff

Hey guys I have an hpi e10 I was looking online and saw they have locked spool diffs and one way diffs. I know what those are but then I found a posi locking diff. I believe this is a diff that locks itself just like in a car. But can someone confirm please.

It goes in the diff housing and replaces the gears, you can take it out which is nice. It links the out drives so they can't slip.
