Default roar motor approvals

The last approval was 8/5/13 the orion vortex lineup ..... Their for a wile it was one approval per week (entire product line it seemed)
I have heard that's theirs 10 or so new motor lineups waiting on approvals
Can anyone shead some light on the holdup .
R they just approving them all the will put them all on the list at one time or is there a problem with some test equipment .
Or did orion pay more to have theirs be listed before the big pause . so we would be more willing to pay 115 dollars per motor ? Lol

When did Howard quit? I just emailed with him a few weeks ago?

The last I know Steve Pond is still doing the motor approvals until the independent lab can be setup again. The info for submitting motors is on the ROAR site but Steve has a major back log and he is doing all he can do at the moment.

Just haven't really heard from anyone. I messaged the president as well with no response.not unusual tho, since I also never got a response until Howard stepped in.But now I talked to Rob King and apparently Howard decided to leave.

Sent a couple of message to different people that might be incharge but no response.

Maybe they're just busy getting all the changes sorted out. Lots of things going on on the back end.

Got a call from Steve Pond. He will be inspecting motors until sept 1s and will switch to BOB INGERSOL from then on.

Got some critical answers on my questions as well.

That's not something Steve alone can answer.

Motors are approved by him then they go thru an executive committee vote before they are posted on the site.

It's just one of those things at roar that gets done when its done.

Steve

I was Electric section chairman for a couple of years. Got booted out for voicing my opinion too much. So that wont happen!

Im not sure what big race you are referring to... but the ORCA is legal for IIC already, regardless of the ROAR status at the time of the event.
