Battery help for Tamiya

Hi, I bought a tamiya ta05 ms and having a hell of a time finding batteries, It uses the old style of battery holder that uses stick packs, but all the lipo stick packs I found do not have a high rating, maximum is 4200 from orion, so basically who makes a lipo that fits the tamiya cars with at least 5000 mah a stick pack size with bullet connectors, the connectors does not really matter, just a stick size (nimh)or shape lipo thats fits the tamiya syyle of cars thanks

most new lipos are bricks. not the stick pack shape. for TCS, it was legalized that you could grind down the tub chassis to be able to use a "brick" style lipo.

Don't use the battery holder, use the battery tapes.....real racing use batteries tape.

the TA05MS uses side by side packs as well as stick packs. Take off the stick battery side mounts and a brick lipo will drop right in there with a couple of strips of plastic glued on the bottom of the lipo to hold it in place in the battery slots. Unscrew the tops of the battery strap posts enough to lift the strap up to clear the pack, or just tape the pack in with fibreglass tape.
