Looks like he is running a BD7 for a couple of races in the ETS.

Hey all: Yeah I read the Hara article on Redrc.com and from what I gather it's just for a few ETS races and after that we'll just have to wait and see. On another note it would be nice if the new LRP America would bring over all of Lrp's vehicles for the USA market. Thanks

Not sure why Yokomo needs to pay another driver, it's not like anybody is going to beat Ronald.

I know! It sounds like Yokomo is hiring Hara to act as a barrier against Marc R from getting too close to Ronald. If Yokomo can keep Marc R from collecting points, it means more BD7 kits will be sold in the European markets. This is pure speculation.

Maybe they are trying for all 3 podium positions.

Why not? Look at the speculations and hype after the announcement. PR home run for Yokomo. Yokomo are spending money and really want to increase market share this year in Europe and abroad and it shows..

RC racing legend Atsushi Hara will make a return to the Yokomo Euro Touring Series after concluding a deal with reigning champions Yokomo to contest this weekend’s (31st Jan – 2nd Feb) second round in Germany. A two time ETS race winner, Hara has signed with the Japanese manufacturer to also contest Round 3 of the world famous touring car championship which takes place on the Spanish holiday Island of Gran Canaria in March.

I'd love to see what Marc could do in a Yokomo.

It's all about a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

They might as well give Lee Martin a BD7 too, and I guess the question is...how long will Hara "The New Mercenary of RC" ride with Yokomo?
Yokomo is flooding ETS mod touring car with numerous talented drivers and for what..... to keep Marc at bay, to protect Ronald, to get another ETS Title?!?! Yokomo is building a massive army to fight for a World Title, at least that's what it looks like.

Although what Ronald is doing is quite remarkable, something has to be said about Marc Rheinard's talent. Marc has been able to hold his own in the ETS series without a mechanic for last 4 years. Based upon Marc solely representing Tamiya at the ETS races by himself, Marc is doing exceptionally well. The ETS will be interesting to watch with Hara in the mix the next couple of meetings.

You guys ever read the story about "SAMSON"

Samson was given supernatural strength in order to combat his enemies and perform heroic feats such as killing a lion, slaying an entire army with only the jawbone of an ass, and destroying a pagan temple.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samson

Sometimes it only takes 1 person to fend off an Army!! Go Marc!
