Maybe but I doubt it. I've heard some pretty astronomical numbers thrown around for Collari. Then you have guys like Pietsch and Salven that are not only drivers but designers as well. Let's not forget Matsukura and Volker, Yokomo would be nothing without them. Then there are guys like Groskamp with three different deals (Tamiya, Shepherd, CRC).

Not exactly. Those other two guys are purely road. Hara can showcase all of a company's products.

whoever it is needs to have a worlds winning capable touring car. there are only 4 companies that make these and he just left one.
also, the US seems to be one of the few countries that drivers just have one chassis deal. I could see him running nitro buggy for one company and electric off road and tc for someone else.

Thats because right now ae is the only company that has a full line up. I qould love to see TLR pic uup the pace but they/horizon seem to be too tied up in the basher market or vehicles that appeal to both racers and bashers. But not pure race machines auch as a tc or offroad 1/10 4wd. I know Ae has sone great talent now but it would be cool to have then represented this highly in the asian market.

AE doesnt have a full line up. They are missing 8th Nitro on road.

And nitro TC. Yeah I guess they still make a NTC3 but who cares? Hara is a former ROAR national champ in Nitro TC.

I agree, doesn't sound smart. For Tamiya to drop Wilke and Groskamp wouldn't be a good PR move. How would their other top drivers feel?
