Default Spectrum question

I am thingking about buying an spectrum set but i have heard some problems about it and i would like to know more about that.

I heard that the spectrum had problems with KO Propo 2343 servo's?
the Combination will be: Sanwa super Exces spectrum and ko 2343.

Does someone know more about this combination?
Thanks.

I would also like to know if the spectrum unit for the sanwa M8 will work in the sanwa super exzes.
It's almoast the same transmitter but the one is stick and the other steering wheel.

thanks,

Arjen

Right, it's hard to say, though I do think that the ESC you have is actually the biggest factor in how well it'll work out(seems some ESC's have a BEC that can't quite supply enough amps to run the Spektrum & a strong servo, but others do, like my Novak GT7, it's never had a problem)....

If you were to have a problem all you need to do is run a resistor cap.Spektrum is going to be releasing a resistor cap at the end of June.

I have a 2133 with a Spektrum and a GT-7 and it works fine. I think the 2133 is very similar to the 2343 specs only with plastic gears.

Just got mine last week...it totally kicks "A". I love it.

I needed a capacitor to run spectrum on Quantum 2 and KO's 2343.

It seems that the Q2 have problem on supplying the voltage.

hope this helps.

A couple of days ago i recieved my Spectrum kit.
The kit is an Airtronics version and works in the super exzes.

But not with the KO2343 servo.
Does someone already know how to solve this?
Somebody told me spectrum will release an capacitor to solve the problem does someone know more about this?

Thanks for the help

I know Spektrum is going to be releasing their own power capicitor, but you can just go to radio shack and get one and attach it to a receiver plug.

Thanks for your reply.

so i can look for the right one.

Thanks,

I'm using a capacitor that has 2400 uf and 10 volts because it's the only thing I could find at my radio shack that is close enough to doing the job, but most people use a 4700 uf capacitor rated for 6-10 volts.

Yep, you just have to make sure you attach the negative wire to the negative lead on the capacitor and positive to positive so it functions. I just used a receiver plug from an old servo I had laying around, but you can use something like this to solder onto the capacitor.

But i have an other question.
now you use an channel for the capacitor and how do you use your AMB Personal Transponder then?

Thanks
