Our track is under reconstruction-so i finally decided to cycle my batteries. Heres some intersting numbers off the T35GFX. All numbers are 35 amp. Both packs are close on the original labels. The non-deadshrted pack though is 5 months old-where the Dead-shorted (DS) is 9 months old.

Non-Deadshorted GP3300
343 sec, 6.93 voltage, 17.6 ir

Deadshorted GP3300
325 sec, 7.01 voltage, 17.7 ir

I still say DS is the way to go for stock!!

Heck yea,

Now if you use the Spintec Battery Manager after your run you will see that IR go down as well....Funny thing Once I used the tray three days thing I will not go back...Here is the info from a SPintec BATMAN for a DS/zero tray pack and a NON DS pack
DS Pack 3300 1.185
AV 7.23
runtime 232
IR 17.5

NON DS
AV 7.12
runtime 243
IR 17.6
So you deside...I race only 19T and stock for now and DS/zero tray is the way for me....
Hope this helps,
Shookie <><
