Default Hpi e10 drift problem

I just bought a hpi e10 drift car. I played with it once and have everything set up correctly, battery set up right and fail safe mode set up. First time was great, second time i used it after the charging time the manual said to do i plugged the battery in to the car and it just goes full throttle withougt the car or radio being on? Ive tried every combination of turning the car and radio on and it will just take off. Steering works. Throttle doesnt do anything. Any ideas? Its really weird

I think the throttle fail safe sets in only when you get below 3.8V on the receiver.

I talked to a hpi tech today, they told me to re bind the car and i tried and nothing. I did play with it in the wet a little. But worked fine after, they told me the esc is no good. I guess the battery is hardwired into the esc giving it power when its not even on. Guess im goig to have to get a new esc?
