Are you Gus sure that was Marc's or Victors car? I don't think it is

I remembered when I bought a Kyosho TF2 back in the day, it came with an aluminum chassis. Looks likes aluminum chassis are making a comeback~!

just to be sure. marc/victor did not use alu chassis. beni stutz did in pro stock.

By the way. Where did Beni Stutz end up for the race?

No pics from Marcs car on his Facebook Profile :weird:
First Race without pics from the car  |
It looks like there are re-stocking delays in the Asian market for the 418. I wonder if Tamiya is holding off so that they may release an update?
|
You may be correct. I contacted Banzai Hobby asking when the 418 would be re-stocked as they have them at a very good price. They replied saying the 418 was discontinued. I thought it might be a language issue or misunderstanding, but maybe there will be changes to the car???
|
I shop from them regularly as well. They told me that they had non eta on restock as well. I just unloaded my 416 and spares.. Guess I will hang on to the $ for now
|
Lets hope they dont change it... I just ordered mine today... haha...
|
I just moved to Las Vegas, I should wait and see what the on-racing here is even like before dropping $ on it.. But then the fact that I don't have a carbon fibre and tamiya blue chassis in my stable keeps me up at nights lol

They only do limited runs of the 418, usually the second run is around April/May. I think the 418 is the easiest TRF to drive for a long time, although that can make me a little conservative when racing, my 417's always kept me on my toes and in a way that made me more 'on it' when driving.

I've only run my 418 twice, on carpet, but I walk away with the impression this car is easier to drive and also reacts to setup changes a little better. By no means is it slow though. Maybe Tamiya had the club racer in mind when they developed this kit? :) |
