Tamiya TRF418

Just built mine and I like how it comes together, every thing fit perfectly, less slop on the steering when compare to Serpent 411 2.0. I follow the instruction but I find that the belt are a little bit loose for both front and rear any one experiencing the same problem ? Or is it normal for the TRF kit ? because this is my first Tamiya TC, my previous one was Xray T4. After I built the 418 I'm glad I didn't buy the T4 2014

Mine should arrive tomorrow or the day after
But will be waiting for a protection foil for the chassis before i can start building.
But that will give me some time to glue and polishing the edges of the carbon parts

Tip from Hara when I hung out with him at TITC years back. He was gluing up his chassis at that time. So I have been doing it that way ever since.

I just use alcohol to clean the edges and use med tire glue. The edges comes out like glass. I only sand the edge where the tape will be.

I usually sand the sharp edges before i start with the glueing part.
