The built length of the set I have here is 56.18mm. And your welcome!

Interestingly enough, I built a TB car so I could get that "shaft drive sound". Alas, mine is quieter than the belt drive cars in the class. The driver was disappointed (because he thought the gear sound is intimidating when you come up on other cars), but the crew chief was elated (he has set up a couple of ring and pinions on 1:1 cars before, and didn't think it was any big deal).

I guess it depends on how you shim them.

Yes. But you have to use the 39t gear that came with it plus replace the big gear on your rear gear diff with a 39t as well...

The stock tb04 40t gear is too big and the mesh is too tight.

Rod C at the Speedtech race installed the TB03 spool with TB04 gears

I ended up running a TB03 ball diff and spool using TB03 gears. In order to get the small gear to fit on the shaft, I used a dremel to remove enough material to get the eclip on.

Also, if you can read chicken scratches, attached is a setup sheet from the Speedtech race.

No it is not . what I am asking for is a physical dimension from center to center because I have a project in mind to run lowered towers on my tc for lower cg and need to know if these could work so I don't have to waste time machining my own.
