I mounted up some new Ride revolution 32deg Premounts tires on the tb04. First thing I noticed is that this car has insane handling, changes direction very easily yet the rear end never slides out of line. This surprised me as I thought the excess weight will cause it to have more inertia and resist changes in direction. Looking forward to racing this car

I have the motor mount and started with a 50 pinion but it is too hot so I need to buy some more gears to go to a higher ratio (closer to 4) from there. Has anyone made up a chart that shows which gear combinations fit and actually mesh?

I also noticed a 200mm max width in the rules. Are people running that or just using 190?

Any tips on carpet setup?

Sway bars? Going without at this time to simplify setup but I think I can cobble together a set from old TRF 417 parts if needed.

My rear diff stripped so I glued it with JB Weld and put it in the front until I can get a proper spool, though the glued diff seems to be holding up well. Then put the front diff in rear with the option steel gears in it.
Where did you get the motor mount I cant find anywhere! I need it for next week tcs race

I'm letting my TB04 go. I changed the internal gears. I have an internal ratio of 2.29. Titanium gears. Drivetrain is very free. But noisy. Anyone interested in it. PM me. Or preferably email me [email protected]. I've ran it in 13.5 and 17.5. I have a spool up front for it. And a ball diff in the rear. I'm keeping the gear diffs for my 414. I have the original box and all the extra plastics. Car is like new. Ran it at Reedy this year. And (2) club races. Make me an offer
