Default Help with 2 RC cars i picked up at garage sale

Im trying to find more info about these rc cars, im a total novice. Any info would be appreciated, I thought it was really cool that one of them is chain driven. Im just not sure I have the expertise to get them running so im thinking of trading or selling. I have a bunch of pictures, thanks!

The second one is an Associated RC10L 1/10 pan car. It was (and is) a great car. We still race them in Kansas City, but not too many other places do.

I believe the first one with the chain is an older model Custom Works Dominator for dirt oval.

The one with the chain is the custom works dominator. What are you asking for sell or trade, interested in that. Ran one years ago and have been looking for one ever since.

Thanks for the answers, you guys rock!!!

My goal is to take my kids and have some fun with a easy to use and setup rc car,I saw one for $180 in hobby store, is that too much to ask for the chain driven rc?

The chain drive car you should sell. It is designed for a very specific use and wouldn't be capable of what your kids will do with it. Sell it, take the money and get something you can use in a variety of conditions and get parts for. Value is all over the map $50-$150. The 10L is a designed to be run on smooth surfaces like your street but it won't be very durable compared to a more general use car. Sell it too. value less than the dominator but not much.
Both cool cars but maybe not what you need.

thanks, i will surely sell them so i can buy a kit, that way i can start having fun right away with the kids and some of my friends who get together every sunday. i also got a monster truck that i will post pictures of, probably sell that too since its from the 80's but its pretty cool, custom aluminum rims!
